MUSIC LIVES HERE! Biography Chad Quentin (born Chadrick Quentin Honore') is a musician, composer, lyricist, and the youngest member of the Grammy Award winning Rebirth Brass Band. He began playing the tuba and trumpet at age 9 and at just 12 years old he performed in his first professional gig in Japan. By the time Chad Quentin was 16 years old, he had furthered his instrumentation to the point of learning every brass instrument. While Chad Quentin is mostly street trained, he has had the opportunity to attend the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts and has studied under Kid Jordan, Kent Jordan, Marlon Jordan, Clyde Kerr and Alvin Batiste. Chad Quentin made a living by playing on the streets of New Orleans in the French Quarter for tips. Before long, he was playing for New Orleans' top brass bands: Stooges, Hot 8 and for the last four years, the Rebirth Brass Band.
