Named after an old pawn shop converted into a funky and popular local club (the Soul Bar) the band's signature sound is a combination of four different musical backgrounds and four different personalities blending influences from Ratt and Dokken to Foo Fighters to Streetlight Manifesto to Sound Garden and Pearl Jam. The finished product is upbeat, driving rock and roll with hopeful lyrics and catchy melodies. Hard hitting drums and great bass lines anchor the groove while tasteful, melodic guitar solos and vocals add interest and carry the melody and storyline.
