Ren was born in Los Angeles and raised in Huntington Beach, California where she began singing as a child. Her first professional singing and dancing job was at Disneyland. While studying music and theatre at U.C.L.A., Ren began acting professionally on stage and in film and television. Currently, she can be seen in a national Home Depot commercial, although her most notable role was as a reporter in the blockbuster movie "Airforce One." Ren's singing experience spans from opera to musical theatre to gospel. She wrote and produced the pop/techno/rock EP "Alien" which was inspired by years of being labeled or limited by her looks and her strong connection to stories of relatives and friends who were put into internment camps in WWII even though they were American.
