Ed and Judi Moncrief are singer songwriters who have performed on the California’s Central Coast for the past thirty-five years. They were founding members of Amadeo, a quintet that appeared at numerous concerts, fairs, and churches from 1977 to 1993. During its many years together, Amadeo developed a broad repertoire of musical styles and songs including Renaissance madrigals, sacred music, and original compositions. Ed and Judi were also among the sixteen original members of Camerata Singers of Monterey County. In 2000, after a hiatus of several years, they re-joined Camerata; and today continue to sing with that distinguish choral group. Ed is also a founding Board member of the Monterey County Composers’ Forum. The two singers, who met in 1965 at a songfest, have made music an integral part of their married life.
