Singer-songwriter Michael Ray Pfeifer, and producer Casey Smith began working together in 2007, and released a debut record “Fire on the Radio” in 2010. The Nasty Notes are releasing their new record “The Higher You Climb” in Fall 2013. The new album features the talents of Casey Smith, Dale Hieb, Curt Hutchens, Bec Smith, Bobbi Miller, Shane Akers, Elliot Blaufuss, and Clinton Forry. Recorded at Knottbrite Studio’s in Minneapolis, MN, “The Higher You Climb” has been three years in the making, and throttles roots-rock, alt-country, psych, and garage rock, into rock'n roll heaven.
