This Kickstarter-funded LP was produced by alt-rock legend David J of Bauhaus/Love and Rockets. The 11-track album, which features performances by the producer on several tracks, was recorded in August 2014 at Red Light Recording in Salt Lake City and will see worldwide release in vinyl, CD, and all digital formats. Intra-Venus & the Cosmonauts plays a brand of rock ‘n’ roll they dub “psychedelic post-punk spaceglam.” Active since 2012, the band includes Brian Cutler (drums), Barrett Ogden (bass guitar), Joshua Ogzewalla (guitar), Peter Jones (keyboard, guitar, and textures), and Scott M. Stringham (vocals, guitar). Justin Evans, a poet friend of the band’s, also contributes lyrics to several songs.
