This music was born out of a desire to share some of the various styles that I enjoy playing and writing. As a full time music pastor I am often asked what is your favorite style or who is your favorite guitarist and that is a question I simply can't answer. I love music and have a deep admiration for so many musicians. These songs represent some of the styles that have inspired me over the years. Parisian Blue is a trio arrangement with me playing all the parts. It is my take on the Gypsy Jazz style created by Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli. Their recordings continue to inspire me and the more I hear their music the more I discover the depth of their genius.
