Lenora started singing at the tender age of three years old. She sung with her sister and brothers when they were young. Later she joined the church choir and sung on the choir faithfully. At the age of twelve years old Lenora accepted the Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. At the age of fourteen in her fathers’ church she was the children’s assistant choir director and assisted with the adult choir. Lenora and her sister started singing together as a duo at various functions from gospel singing, choir anniversaries, and funerals. Lenora graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Fayetteville State University as a Chancellor Scholar. She was in numerous honor societies during her collegiate years. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Masters in Public Administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.
