It's been 2 years since Heaton’s last official release and he returns with a killer first single. Don’t Wanna Be Lonely, co-written with Phil Ireland, shows a development in both style and substance and is a change in direction from his previous computer based electro pop. Heaton has spent the last 2 years writing with a variety of musicians both on and off the net. The most notable collaborations have been with Liam Frost, The Subway Collective, Oisin Scarlett, Tiv and of course Phil Ireland. In 2006 he released the fan-only album “Interlude” which was available for FREE download via his official website. The album brought together a collection of recorded demos both old and new, songs that like Heaton, were in a transition state, not quite ready for a general release.
