I'm a Polaroid. A sort of play on words while paying homage to a brand that has a certain level of nostalgia. The song was also inspired by the fast food way of life. No sooner are you snapped up you are thrown away like an old Polaroid. The sound is a rock soul hybrid it draws inspirations from classic 70's rock bands like guess who and the Rolling stones. Whist retaining the classing melody and harmony from old Motown and the nu soul movement. All be it on the edge.
