This album is dedicated to my Grandmother, Georgea Fletcher who was a singer in St. Louis and Philadelphia in the 20's. The amazing musicians who accompany me on this album are some of the top musicians in Texas and I am very honored to have performed with them. Don Cento produced the album (as well as playing the guitar and singing vocals) and did a lot of the arranging and creative work - this album would never have happened without him (as well as Paul and Dennis). There are many different styles of music on here with the core group of trumpet, guitar, bass and drums being the constant. I chose music that means something to me. I have always loved all different genres of music which shows in the selection of songs for the album. The Astor Piazolla songs remind me of summers in Mexico with my grandmother, mom and sisters.
