Matthew Rich was born with cerebral palsy. Determined to overcome this physical disability he set out to fight what he calls his lion. Matthew refers to cerebral palsy as his lion cause this beast holds him back from daily life routines. From waking up to eating to getting to where he needs to go. Going against doctors opinions that he will never walk Matthew set out to condition his body so that one day he may walk on his own without the need for crutches. Using his own body he started doing push ups, sit ups, squats and using the treadmill. Starting with one push up and one sit up a day he gradually moved up to more repetitions.
