Masmoum (literally means Poisoned), an Iranian poet and rapper, started his artistic work in 2005. He began his Hip Hop activity with the nickname "TriggerMan" as a graffiti artist and a "home studio rapper" in his hometown of NezamAbad, Tehran. In 2007, he pursued his career as a rapper in a more serious manner under the name of "Masmoum." Recording in more professional studios and devoting more of his time to his music, Masmoum had been transformed to a newer and more serious artist. In that same year, Masmoum, along with two of his friends started the music group "Goorkanha" (Gravediggers). After 10 relatively successful songs, due to the forced closing of their personal studio, the music group perished. In 2008 after the dismantling of Goorkanha group, Masmoum continued to release singles. To date, he has not released an official album.
