BILL WARD - KEYBOARD ATIST Bill Ward is one of the most versatile and accomplished pianist-Hammond organist-keyboard player in the Charlotte area. Whether accompanying singers/instrumentalist playing classical music, raising the spirit on the Hammond organ, Playing Hammond Organ Jazz in the classic trio organ/guitar/drums (Jimmy Smith style) or playing keyboards to programmed rhythms at receptions, Bill can do it all........and well! While in New York City, he had experience as a musical director keyboard/organ player at several churches. He was also busy as a Jazz sideman and R&B keyboard player as well as a popular musician for luncheons, receptions, and special occasions. Currently, Bill is the Director of Music at East Stonewall , and, the "Temple Organist" at Temple Beth-El in Charlotte. He has also played for several programs/recitals at Johnson C.
