Cherie Call spent the last few years writing songs out of the pure desire and joy of creating. She wasn't sure where they all might end up. With small children at home and a husband who spent a lot of time on the road as a sound guy, Cherie became "The Stay-At-Home-Songwriter." She posted rough demos of her new songs on her blog, to test them out and give them a little bit of a voice. Now, five years after the release of her previous album, she's finally ready to give a home to all those songs. Most of the songs for this new release were recorded in a two day period of time at June Audio recording studio in Provo, Utah, with a dozen brilliant musicians playing together all at once. The energy of this recording method is easily felt, though most would be amazed that it was all done live in so few takes. Homeless Songs is Cherie Call's 8th full length album.
