We have been making music as a family all our lives, from rock and roll to country and now folk. The Left at South Pass album was inspired by family history stories; stories of the Mormon Trail. We chose a folk style of writing for it's obvious advantage in telling a story. The whole process began with some really great pieces of history, and we came up with music and melody to enhance the story telling.
