Jacqueline Eugennie Thomas, a.k.a. Jet is a singer/song writer currently living in Toronto Canada. She was born in the small district of Cumberland, Jamaica in the parish of Clarendon. Jacqueline’s love of gospel music started when at the age of 11 years she got involved in the local church in her hometown and started singing in the church choir. Jacqueline developed a love for writing and found that she was able to release much of her childhood frustrations by writing and singing her thoughts to God. In 1987 she migrated to Canada and continued singing in her mother’s church choir in Montreal. Since then, she has performed in numerous mass choirs in Montreal, Edmonton, Calgary and Toronto. Sadly, on January 13, 2007, Jacqueline lost her Grandmother, Ruby Campbell to pneumonia just before her planned trip to Jamaica later that year.
