Chris Barbosa was born into a very cultural & diverse family. Barbosa being the youngest sibling out of 4, his mother Palmira Barbosa who is of Cape Verdean descent, and father Jose Barbosa who is also from the Cape Verde islands raised Chris Barbosa 15 miles south of those Boston city lights in a city called Brockton (Home of the champions). His parents were very determined, hardworking individuals who wanted nothing but the best for Chris & his siblings. At an early age, chris began teaching himself how to sing & play the piano. He developed the ability to sing & write music, as well as arrange harmonies to create songs. At the age of 11, Chris pursued his passion for music and signed up for his junior high chorus.
