Acrux aka Tex Adams-Wilcox hailing from Sydney Australia brings us "Attika E.P." with deep roots in the progressive house movement of the early nineties, and travels through a range of emotions, in places it's deep, other times minimal yet melodic. Track 1 "Emold" embarks with a tight eighties sounding disco groove, then boomerangs to a more ancient land where deep didgeri-synths pound the earth and hi-pass cirrus clouds form above as you travel at speed through the outback in a futuristic vehicle powered by Acid. Track 2 "Epsilon" evokes memories of good times... As dawn breaks at the all nighter the Sun begins to peek over the horizon then rises in all of its glory unfazed by the relentless beat...
