Max Huseby, aka Houseboy (the English translation of his Dutch last name) is one of the hardest working dudes I know. He grinds on making new music 24/7 and consistently gives it his all. I met him my freshman year of college through Fantastic Voyage label-mate and collaborator Ulf Bonde, one of his childhood friends. Max was one of the few people I knew at the time that was interested in making proper, underground dance music. His hard work and dedication have been yielding serious results, especially for his Fritz Carlton alias. Highlights being some insane releases on Desert Hearts and preparing the launch of his own label, Room Temp. His new project, Houseboy, takes a turn for deeper, jazzier sounds.
