ANGELO DOGBA Born in Ivory Coast, Angelo Dogba is considered one of the early pioneers of the Hip Hop scene in Cote d'Ivoire as well as francophone Africa. With a broad cross section of influences that ranged from local traditional artists, to international music genres such as Hip Hop, R&B, dancehall reggae and pop music as well, one can say that Angelo's sound is truly international. Angelo's music career kicked off in 1998, when he formed the group 'Crazy B'. The group went on to release two albums. Shortly after the release of their second album, Angelo left the group to pursue a solo career and in 2001, he released his first single 'Dogba', which went on to climb to the top of the Ivory Coast charts.
