"This Is Christmas" is a collection of sacred carols which clearly defines the spirit of Christmas - faith, family, friends, and festivity. Many of the selections in this album although known are less often heard. However, there is a good sprinkling of the more traditional carols included. Musical arrangements are by pianist Dave Walker. Listeners have described the music as calming and meditative. Several people who have attended recent concerts which have included many of these selections have said that it was a wonderful way to prepare their mind and heart for Christmas. Because many of the selections are not often heard, one listener remarked that the songs were like a bunch of unexpected Christmas presents.
