Adeline is music by John Perkins that is personal in nature and attempts to marry old with new through instrumentation and lyrics. Subject matter ranges from home to heartache, death to forgiveness. Banjos, acoustic and electric guitars, bass, drums, and xylophone back lyrics attempting to be honest and thought provoking. Mostly, I just wanted to try to write music my grandparents, parents, and extended family could all enjoy without sacrificing artistic license. This album was recorded, mixed, mastered, and packaged at home in Waco, Texas in 2003. Note: You can download all the songs from my website for free (http://adelinewaco.com). I also included the artwork on the website. Please feel free to just go there and take the songs, however I made some CD's for when I play live and felt compelled to put them up here.
