GLBT Hall-of-Famer and RightOutTV Video and Music Awards recipient, Shawn Thomas, releases his 2014 studio-pop production of 14 Contemporary Christian style tracks. Thomas describes the album, “In Between the Shades of Gray,” as a departure from the praise and worship template of his previous number one CD, “Voice of Worship:” “There really wasn’t a plan or pre-established theme for this CD. Each song was written and recorded independently from the others, and, as a result, there’s a pretty wide scope of styles; whereas for the most part, my previous projects were kind of planned out ahead of time. I think it’s pretty different from anything I’ve done before, both in production and writing.
