Mark has been working / surviving as a solo musician in Sydney, Australia, for over 20yrs, performing on his own handmade celtic harps, & also renaissance & baroque lutes, theorbo & vihuela de mano, classical / flamenco guitar & flute. "A Buskers Alms" is a new re recording of his first CD, with some flute mixed in with the harp, & new tracks & compositions added (listen to new tracks below). The title track was inspired by the many times it is necessary to go busking to keep living expenses paid, & work coming in - & the many times buskers are unreasonably & forcibly removed by people in positions of authority, from places where the public & shopkeepers are quite open about their appreciation of quality relaxing music provided for free in an ever maddening city environment.
