KJ has been hailed internationally as a force to be reckoned with. The Sydney Sun-Herald proclaimed him a "Chicago Star." Theatrical credits include: off-Broadway: Beginnings, Mad About the Boy; Other credits: Mad Joy (filmed for PBS, following run at Steppenwolf Theatre and tour of Germany); Starts in Your Eyes; The King & I. Television credits include: The Ricki Lake Show, Can You Tell? (Oxygen Network), and Alphabet Garden. After receiving his vocal performance education from the Chicago Academy for the Arts, DePaul and Northwestern Universities (all on scholarships), KJ immediately went on to make his mark on the New York City cabaret circuit, performing regularly at such venues as Don't Tell Mama, the Duplex, and the High Spirits Room.
