Me and the Horse I Rode In On is one man and one man only until it's time to let others in. The man is Henry Toft. He lives in Aarhus. He writes and records everything at home. There's no studio. Mostly it all takes place in the living room when he's all alone. In 2006 Henry Toft recorded an EP called Ghost Hospital. Seven dark and quiet songs reflecting worries, misery and the feeling of not being home. It was mixed and mastered by Jim Bob Aiken and was released in january 2008 using the name Me and the Horse I Rode In On. The name came before the songs. It was one of these "The day I start writing songs I wanna call myself Me and the Horse I Rode In On"-situation and so it was settled and will stay this way.
