Ruby thought she would have to put her dreams on hold but soon realized that the police department could use for a voice like hers. After six month of rigorous training Ruby received the opportunity to share a more sweeter and softer side of her, that her colleagues had never seen. Ruby sang the national anthem for her police academy graduation held at Madison Square Garden before five thousand attendees. It wasn't before long that Ruby became a house hold name within the New York City Police Department singing the National Anthem from the New York Knicks games at Madison Square Garden to the White House.
