Written and recorded in the spring and summer of 2016, "What We Wished For and Feared" is the first full-length release from Maple Hill. Following up on 2015's "In Spite of the Past" EP, the songs on this album continue Maple Hill's signature style of alternate indie rock. Themes of loss, life and birth run through the album, from the epic and atmospheric "Apparition," to the joyful, dance-infused rocker "You Are My Home," to the dark and moody strains of "Willow" and "Under Stars".
