These songs came flooding into my mind in July 2015 and over a two week period I wrote 9 songs - I decided to add in two old favourites of mine: Sea Around Her (formally All in a Memory) and Sugar in My Veins. The rule for recording was acoustic guitar and vocals front and centre and additional instruments were added to round out the sound and feel my musical style. It's very old school songwriting reminiscent of Dire Straits, Mark Knopfler, Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan. I really had given up on singing and playing but I just couldn't ignore these songs so this is a personal record. Mainly a collection of events from my life that I found quite interesting or magical and I'm very proud of this album even if no-one listens to it.
