MEGHAN SALETTA never pictured herself living abroad at 24. “I was scared of the unknown, of taking a detour from what I was “supposed” to be doing, but I knew I had to do it. I decided to LEAP,” says Meghan of her decision to move to Cambridge, England for a year. “And I’m so glad I did. I had the time of my life”. The 8 songs on Saletta’s first full-length project, Dreaming (due September 2016) tell the story of that leap, and capture the soaring magic and grueling uncertainty of a young adult finding herself in a foreign land. “These songs were written in the rolling green meadows and bright storybook-like gardens of Cambridge… some alone in my bedroom, and others in the upstairs function room at the pub where I worked,” Meghan explains. “But they aren’t all explicitly about Cambridge.
