Back in 2006, longtime collaborators Andreas Jensen and Joe Killington turned Armand van Helden's My My My into a smash for the second time with The Funktuary Radio Mix, which was Radio 1's second most played track of the year and a hit around the world. So what did they do next? The inevitable string of similar remixes and reworkings? No – instead they started work on their debut album and honed their live show, in preparation for launching The Funktuary as an artist project. The album, which was completed in mid 2009, jumps genres between synth-pop, electro, soul, blues, reggae, and balearic house. The first taster from that is 'Set The Sun Alight', which comes with a lush house remix from 7th District.
