Ze!, an artist not unfamiliar with Nylon Trax unique syntax, makes his third EP appearance on Jaymz Nylon's worldly imprint. Cleverly entitled D.A.S.H. (Deep and Soulful House), Ze!s poignant two-tracker cuts and sews together various genres with ease from broken beat, house, and hip hop. The title track is a dreamy, low-lying vocal production painted with soft pads and swirling wine-colored synths. Careful keys flit in and out alongside the sound of Indian tables; yet another testament to Nylon Trax' commitment to curating worldly sounds. Laden with traditional 4x4 drums, City Lights sees Ze! flex his house muscles. A quiet-noise, City Lights will inspire and soothe with its delicate, hollow reverb and plodding bass kicks.
