Mary Velo is a name associated with quality. Her productions have been to the acclaim of many of her techno peers, this EP is no exception and Decoy Records is honoured to have her on board. The title track Examination of Witnesses is a deep and haunting piece, which leans more to Marys Detroit influence with percussive workouts and pads over a chugging groove. Alexander Dneil supplies the remix stripping back the elements from the original and creating more of a straighter driving version, concurrent with his production style. Simple Partial again moves the listener deeper into Marys World with a mysterious synth line that swells and fades across another perscussive workout.
