Upakut started Kevlar Beats to do something a little different. He has always had an open taste to drum and bass jungle and this has been apparent in the releases he has put out on the label, from the debut minimal funk of Omtrek, through the jungle of Gimick and the Jump Up from MQ he has bought a bit of everything to high standards. For the 10th release he brings a 6 track ep from fellow Kool London DJ Uniques which takes it back. This EP has minimal beats and bass which take you back to a time when drum and bass was just that. No sub genres just great music. You can't put a finger on it but it suits pretty much anything. A perfect EP.
