Sophia Angeles is a sixteen year old singer songwriter from Sedona, Arizona with a fresh original sound and a unique and powerful vocal style. She has been singing, performing on stage and writing songs since she was nine years old. At the age of thirteen she won the local Sedona Sunrise Rising Star singing competition. Last April she starred in a sold-out debut concert at Studio Live in Sedona. Sophia’s recent CD release concert this month (3/13) was also very successful and well attended. Sophia expresses a range of emotions with a sensitivity that’s rare for her age. Her original music is a homegrown blend of indie pop with crossover country-folk styling. Her musical influences range from Nora Jones to Taylor Swift…Michelle Branch to Adele.
