I was born in Cuba, and both my parents were community singers, which allowed me to develop interest in music from a very young age. When I was 4 years old my father decided to take me for an aptitude test at the Art School of Santa Clara in Cuba, where I excelled in Music. However because I was only four years old and the school was far away from home, my mother did not allow me to enter the program. Later on during my first year of University I discovered my talent for Poetry, it was in 1994 when I wrote my first poem, but music was still part of my heart and did not want to let it go, I had to find a way to make it happen somehow. I never took singing lessons, or ever played any musical instruments, I discovered that I could create music using my ear as my main tool, that was how I started to create music and writing more songs.
