This song, written by John, first appeared on an album called Mon Amie by his then band The Romantics (European band not the American band - they were unaware of each other at the time). Tracks from that album were played across Europe and on BBC in the UK including Radio One but not this as it was more an album track. John was inspired to revisit by an item on a Stroud FM program called Sandrine's Country Folk show where she plays tracks that were not originally folk or country, redone as one of those genres. John tried two versions and chose the country version to release. The other version may appear as a bonus track on the forthcoming album.
