"Let It Go" was written after a stressful day that Chad and myself recently faced. We own a local recording studio in North Carolina. With a list of things to get done one day, it seemed that nothing was going right, and out of that, this song was created. While I went to get lunch, Chad went into the studio and began pounding a melody on the keyboard. While standing in line at Wendy's, I over heard a man in front of me talking about someone who was fighting cancer. Under my breath, I said a short prayer for the person and during the prayer, used the words "let it go." The weird thing about it is, that I didn't use the words in the correct spot and it made no sense at all. When I got back to the studio, Chad had already written a few lines, including the chorus line, "Let It Go."
