Theresa Kavanagh hails from the North West of Donegal, a region very much associated with fiddling. From a young age her passion was music and culture. Having studied a HND in Professional Traditional Irish Music Performance at Foinn Chonnallacha, Theresa went on the complete a Bachelor of Music at the University of Ulster, Magee, graduating with a First Class Honours Degree. Theresa will return this year to study a Masters in music taking performance as her major. She is a talented composer/peformer, and I'm sure you will hear alot more from her in the future. I know you will enjoy experiencing the fresh sound of her debut album as much as I have.
